At ReserveSpaceNow.com, we strive to protect the interests of both guests and hosts. To ensure all spaces are treated with care and respect, some listings may require a security deposit as part of the booking terms. This policy outlines how deposits are handled, what they cover, and how they are refunded or forfeited.
When a Security Deposit is Required

A security deposit may be required by individual hosts
for specific listings. This will be clearly stated on the
booking page
under “Pricing & Fees.”

Deposits are authorized or charged at
the time of booking and held securely until after the reservation
is completed and the space is inspected.
What the Security Deposit Covers
Security deposits are meant to cover any costs associated with:

Damage to furniture, fixtures, equipment, or
property within the space

Excessive cleaning required due to misuse or
neglect

Theft or removal of items belonging to the host
or venue

Unauthorized use of the space, including
exceeding guest limits or hours

Breach of house rules, such as smoking, pets, or
noise violations
Note: Security deposits are not used to cover normal wear
and tear.
Post-Reservation Inspection Process

After the guest’s reservation ends, the host is required to
inspect the space within 24–48 hours.

If no issues are reported, the security deposit is automatically
released in full.

If damage or violations are identified, the host must submit
evidence
(e.g., time-stamped photos, video, receipts, or a written report) to
ReserveSpaceNow.com for review.
Deposit Refund Process

Full Refund: If no issues are found, the deposit
is refunded to the original payment method within
5–7 business days
(varies by bank or provider).

Partial or No Refund: If issues are found and
validated, all or part of the deposit may be withheld to cover
associated costs.

Guests will be notified of the findings, charges, and supporting
evidence via email.
Dispute Resolution

Guests have the right to dispute any deposit deductions
within 7 days of receiving the incident report.

ReserveSpaceNow.com will act as a neutral third party to
investigate
and make a final decision based on the evidence submitted by both the
host and the guest.

All decisions made after the investigation will be
final and binding
.

Deposit amounts may vary depending on the space, duration of the
reservation, and host preferences.

Guests are advised to review listing rules and
inspect the space upon arrival to avoid any
misunderstandings.

Hosts who abuse the deposit system by making false claims may be
penalized or removed from the platform.
